Current Events:

Every Sunday, from January 18 through February 25, at 14 p.m., "Winteraustreiben" (kicking out the winter) takes place, carried out by the little "Muller" (masked people) of Rum, a traditional old custom practised in the villages between Innsbruck and Hall.

At "Canisiusbrünnl" in Hoch-Rum (High-Rum) you will find an ideal mix of untouched nature and sporting activities during any season of the year, friendly hospitality, and all that what is offered by the city of Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. In wintertime, Canisiusbrünnl becomes an excellent starting point for relaxing, fun and sports in nature and snow. Winter footpaths and a sledge run are leading off immediately in front of the door. The nearby skiing grounds can be reached in short time by car or by a special bus, free for skiers. Through an excursion to Innsbruck you will enjoy the particular atmosphere of the city and its old centre with the famous Golden Roof, all this adorned by a splendid background, the "Nordkette" (the northern chain of mountains). During the summer you can absorb energy by hiking, nordic-walking, mountain-biking, or mountaineering in the sound air of the Tyrolese Alps. The alpine path "Goethe-Panoramaweg", for instance, fascinates by its special natural beauty and thus was granted the title "Mountain Path with Distinction". Your kids will be thrilled by the nearby adventure playground. On the sunny terrace of the "Canisiusbrünnl" Hotel you relax enjoying a wonderful panoramic view over the Inn valley and the temptations of the culinary program by the Hölbling family.
